Exceeding all expectations of a book for 8 year old’s, even we found many chapters that we couldn’t help but read through. The style of the text is a little archaic but that’s all part of this book’s charm.
There is definitely some similarity between this book and the famed “Popular Mechanics” book from the 1930’s. This book is certainly targeted to boys and not girls, there are chapters specifically about girls, as well as hunting and cooking rabbits.
